What Is The Lifeline Program?
For the past 35 years, the FCC has been helping low-income individuals get access to communication services for free or at heavily discounted prices. It all began with home phone access, but as they realized the changing needs of people, they expanded the program to include wireless phones.
TruConnect is a provider of Lifeline, which is a government benefit program. If you meet the qualifications and sign up for Lifeline with TruConnect, you will receive free minutes, texts, and data. To qualify, you can participate in programs like Medicaid, SNAP, Federal Public Housing, Veterans Pension, or meet certain income criteria.
